“Geopolitical Uncertainty: Singapore's place in the world” 2023

Dialogue with Mr Teo Chee Hean Senior Minister & Coordinating Minster for National Security 2023

I attended a dialogue titled “Geopolitical Uncertainty: Singapore’s place in the world” with Senior Minister and Coordinating Minister for National Security, Mr Teo Chee Hean, held at the SMU Ngee Ann Kongsi Auditorium. The programme began with registration and dinner, followed by opening remarks from the Guest of Honour. The main portion of the event was a moderated Q&A session, where participants were able to raise questions and hear directly from the Minister.

Through this session, I gained a broader appreciation of how global uncertainty shapes Singapore’s outlook and strategic considerations. Listening to the discussion strengthened my understanding of the importance of staying informed, adaptable, and proactive in navigating international issues. It was a valuable opportunity to reflect on Singapore’s role in the world and the need for continued engagement on geopolitical challenges.
