Hi! My name is Jerome Ong
Growing up in a relatively liberal household in Singapore has taught me the power of effective communication. Since my youth, I have participated in numerous public speaking-related and adjacent activities, such as debate, Model United Nations, and oratorical competitions, all of which have helped me recognise the importance of communication and discourse in today's society. As I grow older and encounter more of the real world, I continue to refine my understanding of the power of communication. While free expression is a powerful tool for change, it can become a double-edged sword if wielded incorrectly. Thus, I created The Unspoken Policy - an organisation encouraging youths to enact social change through effective communication and discourse. Through the numerous projects and initiatives led by The Unspoken Policy, I hope to inspire like-minded youths to take the first step in using their voices to make a positive impact on the world around us.
